LAST TIME OUT
Mariella Hartmann scored a second-half brace to get the Raiders a crucial point in the final match of the Horizon League regular season, drawing Northern Kentucky 2-2.
Erykah Cornett got the Norse on the board early, netting the opening goal of the match in the 19th minute. Cornett settled the ball in the 18-yard box off a deflection and fired a shot into the bottom corner of the net.
Cornett doubled the Northern Kentucky lead in the 78
th minute when she ended up with the ball after a scrum in the box, sending a shot into the bottom corner of the net.
Hartmann got the Raiders in the 80
th minute when
Ruby Dunlevy played a cross into the box that found the foot of an unmarked Hartmann, who sent a shot past the Northern Kentucky goalkeeper.
The Raiders would level the score just three minutes later when
Olivia Stroud sent a pass into the box right to the feet of Hartmann, who netted her second goal in the match.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Green Bay finished the season with a 6-8-4 overall record and a 4-3-3 mark in Horizon League play. The Phoenix is coming off a 2-3 loss at Milwaukee on Wednesday night. Before Wednesday's loss, Green Bay was unbeaten in its last six, dating back to September 28. Senah Hanes leads Green Bay in points (12) and goals (5) and is second on the team in assists (2). Anna Scott has been the main goalie for the Phoenix, playing 1,058 minutes in net, allowing 14 goals while recording 22 saves.
Hanes, Hanna Arvay, and Rebecca Stoekmann were all named to the All-League third team when the Horizon League announced its postseason awards Friday afternoon.
HISTORY VS. GREEN BAY
Sunday afternoon's match will mark the 35th all-time meeting between Wright State and Green Bay, a series in which the Raiders lead 21-7-6. The Phoenix came out on top 2-1 when the two squads met in Green Bay on October 16.

ALL-LEAGUE TALENT
The Raiders received three Horizon League honors as the conference announced its yearly awards Friday afternoon.
Caitlin Burger was named to the All-League First Team,
Samara Nunn was selected to the All-League Second Team, and
Kaitlyn Eyink was voted to the All-League Third Team.
Burger earned the first All-League honors of her collegiate career following a breakout junior season. Burger was one of three players to play and start in all 18 matches for the Raiders. She is tied for the team lead in points (11), goals (4), and leads the Raiders with two game-winners. The midfielder netted goals against Fairmont State, Louisville, Chicago State, and Robert Morris.
Nunn earned the first All-League honors of her collegiate career following a stellar senior season. Nunn played and started in 17 matches for the Raiders. She is second on the team in goals (3), assists (4), and points (10). The forward netted goals against Bellarmine, Central Michigan, and IU Indy.
Eyink collected All-League honors for the second time in her collegiate career, being named to the All-Freshman team in 2023. Eyink was one of three players to play and start in all 18 matches for the Raiders. She ranks second on the team, only behind fellow defender
Zara Graff, in minutes logged (1410), playing all 90 minutes in a team-high eight matches.
RAIDERS IN CONFERENCE PLAY
Wright State was undefeated through the first six games of conference play for the first time in program history. The Raiders have been undefeated through their first five games twice before in 2022 and 2016. In 2016, they went 4-0-1 with wins over Green Bay, Cleveland State, Youngstown State, and Valparaiso, plus a draw with Detroit Mercy. In 2022, the Raiders went 3-0-2 with wins over Milwaukee, Youngstown State, and Green Bay, plus draws with IUPUI and Cleveland State. 10 different players have scored Wright State's 15 goals in conference play. SEPTEMBER SHUTDOWN
After allowing 13 goals in the team's first five matches, head coach
Travis Sobers challenged his team to limit goal-scoring opportunities for the opposition to give the Raiders the best chance to win. The team has responded by allowing only four goals across its next seven matches in September, including a streak of four straight 1-0 shutouts. During the shutout streak, the Raiders played 437 minutes of match play without conceding a goal, spanning from the 58
th minute against Bellarmine on September 4 and the 38
th minute against IU Indy on September 28.
Leigha Lauer and Sarka have both seen action between the posts over the three-game span. Sarka has recorded two solo shutouts, and Lauer has recorded one solo shutout. The pair split the shutout at Central Michigan, each playing 45 minutes.
SIZING UP THE 2025 SQUAD
WSU welcomes eight newcomers — including seven freshmen — to this season's roster. The Raiders' 34-player roster includes seven freshmen, six sophomores, 10 juniors, nine seniors, and a pair of graduate students.
