DAYTON – The Wright State volleyball team prevailed in a five-set marathon on Saturday afternoon, using a five-point run in the deciding set to grab a 3-2 victory over Youngstown State.

Wright State (12-6, 6-1 Horizon League) dropped the opening set, 25-22, before rallying back with 25-17 and 25-19 wins in sets two and three to take the lead. Youngstown State (7-11, 2-5 Horizon League) responded with a 25-18 fourth set win to stay alive and force the deciding set, with the Raiders using the five-point run to gain separation on the way to a 15-9 win.
