DAYTON – The Wright State women's bowling team is set to serve as tournament hosts this weekend with the annual Raider Classic at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek on Saturday and Sunday.
Action gets underway on Saturday at 1 p.m. and runs through the afternoon before Sunday begins at 8:45 a.m., with competition going through the finals. On Saturday, teams will bowl five games of tenpin bowling before 16 games of Baker bowling on Sunday will end qualifying and set up the finals.

The Raiders are ranked No. 15 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association's Power Index Ranking, released on November 3. The formula to rank the teams includes the following statistics:
Season Wins, Season Losses, Sum of Winning Percentage, Sum of Opponents Winning Percentage and Sum of Opponents Opponents Winning Percentage. From that, a Performance Index Ranking (PIR) is created, and the teams are ranked based on this number.
The Raiders will feature two squads at the event, with the 'Green' team consisting of

Mia Sayles,
Jasmine Schulze and
Alli Shattuck. The 'Gold' group will feature
Hannah Dingledine,
Kylie Fisher,
Emma Hatfield,
Kaylie Hoff and
Dottie Sayles.
Wright State is back in action for the first time since a fourth-place finish at last weekend's Windy City Halloween Classic. After this weekend's home tournament, the Raiders will close the fall portion of their schedule at the Bearcat Classic November 14-16 outside of St. Louis.
